i got a 2000 celica GTS 4 speed auto, wondering if anyone knows the amount of work involved in converting it into a manual if its possible at all, thanks for replying ---

All things are possible with enough $$$ ??? ???. It is not worth the cost. It involves more than just a transmission as it would on a 61 Ford. Today it means all kinds of changes. Likely the computer controlling the engine will need to be changed for example. ---

true enough but your point may be the extact opposite, for instance logic tells me that all celicas are the same chassis,cable and wire linkage spacing etc, i could be totaly wrong and i’ve had one heck of a time finding celica specs as its a discontinued car
