The converter was under warranty. And I think they ought to have looked into a reason for the converter failing as you say. Would a failed cylinder head make the check engine light go on?? or your saying that what ever went wrong made the converter fail, thus setting off teh check engine/cruise light?
And would this be expected in a car of 77000 miles?
