I just replaced a fuel pump on my 1992 Hyundai Excel, I’m geeting spark & fuel but the car won’t start. ---

You need fuel, spark and compression. How is the compression? Tell us a little more about the fuel pump. ---

The car was running just fine, but I knew about the fuel pump noise. Then I turned the car off, when I went to restart it nothing happened, meaning it just kept turning over at normal speeds but wouldn’t start. And the timing belt was just replaced at a Hyundai dealer.
