Car won't start, battery and alternator are fine...what could it be?

Need to check for fuel, compression, and spark.

My 2003 Saturn L200 is doing same thing. Dead upon trying to start it. No headlights. No crank. No start. But battery and alt. Test ok. 13.7v on Alt. Battery date 12/23.
Monday mid day the locks wouldnt lock from drivers door handle lock switch then i tried again a few minutes later and it dud lock then a lil while later they didnt lock. But drove home ok. Made 1 stop/ turned car off enroute. But at 8:15pm went to lv home n car didnt start at all. I had been hearing whining noise thru dash. Aaa used port. Jump and i could then start it up fine. But i smelled faint burn/ elect. Smell outside car n some faint whining noise. Tues towed to shop. Mech tested batt n alt. Was ok!

But same deal again. Mech said couldnt fine any issue, so got car drove home. Next am dead upon trying to start. Tow truck used port. Jump ( to move/ get car out of driveway) and with key again right after port. Jump it started fine. Again after it got towed to shop batt. Tested fully charged.
Ideas???

I presume you mean the battery tested fully charged, but the engine still didnā€™t crank. There must be another problem thatā€™s harder to diagnose. I presume it starts ok at the shop. Suggest to let the mechanic keep your car for a few days and use if for their daily driver. Eventually it will fail then the mechanic should be able to properly diagnose the problem.

I suspect dirty battery connections and/or corroded ground.
