What is causing my 99 nissan maxima to shut off while driving?

Any one of a multitude of possibilities.

Can you give us any detail about the conditions under which the engine stalls.

It dies when driving at speeds of around 30mph. It’s done it twice in the last week. I bring it to a stop and have no problem restarting it.
