_Solved by Nevada\_545 !_

Very cold morning.
O-dark-thirty, hospital calls for an emergent transport of blood platelets.
After turning on the 2023’s ignition, quickly stepping on accelerator TWICE starts engine without reving it. Otherwise themergencyehicle backs out of the garage in battery/motor mode.

Gently accelerating up our street, the engine turns off and now back into motor mode.

Driving through our neighborhood it would be.st if the engine stays running and warming.
When on the arterial street I begin accelerating more aggressively to higher speeds.

Lexus dealer does not khow to keep the engine running from startup.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Buy a non hybrid vehicle for your blood runs, and drive the hybrid for everything else…

Send a telegraph message to the Lexus headquarters to inform them their poor engineering will lead to your engine’s failure.

From my experience, pressing “AUTO” on the heater control will cause the engine to run in order to generate heat.

You force the engine to start because it is better to generate pollution while backing out of the garage.

We went through this whole circus months ago. Nothing has changed.

Wife’s car gets handed down to me.
A Toyota SUV would be.tter.

The 2023 RX350 now has a bottom cover so I cannot use my patented electric skillet block heater.

Even though I be a registered tree-hugger and Greenie, better to do that than impose load on a cold engine.

Thank you.
Shall try your suggestion of turning on t **heater** on lowest speed.

Thank you!
**It works!**
**Turn on heat. Engine stays ON.**
I used lowest fan speed to extract as little heat as possible.
Nextime shall try Air Conditioner so no engine heat is taken.
