# Can loose gas cap cause EXTREME amount of gas smell?

According to your other thread, YES you would drive it, you didn’t like the shops $1000 estimate so you drove it home knowing it was leaking.

YEAH GUY! i drove it home but after that its not moving. shop was literally down the street. doesnt matter now bought a new one
