I’m an Orioles fan. When I was living in Pasadena in the '70s, I took the bus to Anaheim to see them play the Angels. I went for the Saturday night game, spent the night in the Santa Ana river, went to the morning game Sunday. An old guy with a spare ticket for a box seat gave it to me.
It was a few feet lower than street level, had trees and bushes on the banks, which made it significantly quieter and darker and cleaner. Of course it was as dry as a bone.

as far as bike lanes go, they put in a bunch of them in Lancaster PA, problem is they’re painted (the lanes are painted green). When it rains or is slightly damp from the evening dew they are extremely slippery so most bikers around here ignore them if it’s not nice and sunny out. I’d be curious if anyone was tracking the number of bike vs auto incidents from before they installed the lanes vs after installing them

They’ve been savaging the brand lately, apparently with good reason
I’ll say one thing . . . we’re angels compared to that website. It’s quite salty, if you get my meaning. Both the writers AND the guys who make comments
