Since the car is under warranty, why not let the dealership take care of this for you–gratis?

Because sometimes it’s just easier to deal with easy fixes yourself than to take the car to the dealer and get a ride to and from work, or wait two hours for the car. If rwroda can get his or her head under the dash and see where the brake light switch hits (or misses) the brake pedal’s arm, it may be a very simple fix. Scoot the seat back, take a flashlight, and have a look-see.
