Brake bleeding kit

I’ve yet to find a master cylinder that this adapter kit doesn’t fit.

A little info on that kit? Last time I went looking, I could not find an adapter for my 2014 Subaru either individually or in a kit. The universal adapter I tried would not balance on top of the MC either.

I didn’t try the dealership though. Knowing Subaru, they probably have one but not for sale to the public. Can’t, or at least could not at the time, get a FSM or even a subscription from one of the car data subscription services, could get a subscription through Subaru but very very $$$.

This kit works on Subaru’s too.

UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY

These adapters fit most vehicles. Compatible with Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, General Motors (latest models), Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Hummer, Oldsmobile, Ford (latest models), Kia, Mini, Honda (including Accord), Nissan, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Subaru , some Lincolns, Toyotas, Lexus and most European cars.

All well and good. Who sells this kit?

I bought mine thru Carquest.

This kit does not have an adapter specific to Subaru’s, not mine anyway. It calls for the universal adapter. But the problem is with the Subaru MC, the chain will not stay in place directly under the cap so it won’t stay in place.

But there is a way. You buy a second cap for the MC, drill an appropriate size hole in it and make a hose adapter from common hardware. Not that hard. Also the only way to get an adapter for some Nissans.

That’s the Subaru adapter,

power probe has an excellent assortment, last time I checked

Not cheap, but extremely high quality, imo

Thats a screw on. Mine has three ears.

My $2 tubing and jar also got used several times over the years.

I am assuming power brakes so I want the booster working.
