# BMW Clunking sound

I have a 2003 BMW 330xi. When I back out of the driveway and turn the wheel to the left I get a hard clunk from the right front end. Any thoughts?

First thing I would check would be sway bar links. If the car was not a ix I would be all over the ball joints but I have only seen a handful of e-46 ix’s
