Next time get some of this cleaner…put a small dab in each palm about the size of a quarter…scrape at it with the other hand to work it under yout nails good,then wipe your hands dry without disturbing the stuff under your nails. This will keep grime from sticking under your nails so when you wash up, the underside of your nails will clean up easier.
As for the old part, it’s junk and can be tossed…no ceremony is needed!!!1
