I was wondering why my 2006 Honda Civic Si won’t stay in gear once I shift. It won’t lock and stay in place. It keeps popping back out to neutral. Can anyone give any insight to what the problem maybe. Thanks in advance ---

What type of transmission do you have? Automatic or manual. If it is a manual, popping out of gear could be caused by a bad engine mount or internal wear requiring the transmission be removed and disassembled for repair. If it is an automatic, again, a bad engine mount is likely the problem. ---
