1)alarm goes off when locking the doors with key fab
2)fast ticking sound coming from the passenger floor board not constant but makes dash light flicker when ticking
3)right turn signal light has some type of short
- Do you have an aftermarket alarm on the car? This can cause the electrical system to act strangely.
- Which dash light(s)? Is it the check engine light, background lighting, or something else? An aftermarket alarm might do this too.
- You need to check the turn signal electrical system. I guess you know that the bulb is OK. Check the bulb socket for continuity. Pull and push on the wires to see if you can duplicate the issue. If you can, you might need to replace the socket. It’s simple and cheap if you can solder two wires together. If the socket is OK, it might be the wires or the turn signal stalk.
If you don’t feel comfortable doing these things, take it to a shop that specializes in electrical issues.
