I am looking for a new car with an arm rest that is attched to the seat, not “built in” to the middle console of the car. I am short, also have some medical issues, and need the arm rest that is attached to the driver’s seat. I know that Honda cars have these. Any others? I’m especially interested in hybrids, but the arm rest is the most critical item. I also had one dealer tell me that he could have one put on. Thanks for any help with this. ---

Minivans and SUVs often have these. Pickup trucks are probably still available with three-across bench seats with a “drop down” armrest. ---

Thanks, but these vehicles are too large for me. I do not need anything larger than a crossover. I appreciate your responding, though. ---

I’ve seen them in the Honda CR-V and/or the Odyssey. If the CR-V is to big for you, I don’t know what to tell ya.
