I’m looking for what a car WAS worth in 2005 and my local library doesn’t have old Blue Books. Anyone have one from 2005 and could look up the value of a car that year for me? 1993 Subaru Impreza 4 door sedan, good condition, CD player, electric windows, 140,000 miles ---

The car was 12 years old in '05 and is now 17 years old. In the last 5 years is has depreciated only about 5% per year, so about 25%. Add about 1/4 of the current value onto the current value and you’ll be close. If it was a $15K Subbie new then it’d be about $3,000 at best in '05. Most places just toss the books as new ones come in.
