I like AM Radio and I’ve posted this before…

Where I live there are two stations that I enjoy listening to: NPR (abet very liberal) but they carry “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” and (Drum Roll Please…) “Car Talk – The Best of Car Talk” and they are on the FM Dial… and if I want to listen to this station, I have to turn the volume way up, way up… I also listen to a local AM station and they are very much on the conservative side, but they also offer none political programming, like: “Ask the Experts”, “The …

AM Radio creates local jobs, It provides Local News and Journalism, It allows Local Business to target their advertisements to the Local Areas, It increase Diversity based on the Local Area, and it meets the needs of the Local Listening Area. The video starts where it gets interesting, but you can watch it from the beginning and I might suggest you also Google “Congressional stock trading, Congressional investments, and you might also check out the Congressional Blind Trust Act of 2011…”

You would think that Congressional Blind Trust Act of 2011 which requires all of Congress to put their assets into a blind trust would put a stop to trading on insider knowledge, but there are all sort of holes in the act. Members of Congress are still allowed to buy and sell individual stocks as long as they disclose their trades within 45 days.
