I purchased three years ago a 1988 Cadillac DeVille. It has 123k miles and runs like new. I am very impressed with the ride and drive quality of this car. It is hard to beat, even at 20 years of age!

I know GM and American cars are getting some bad knocks, but this car is awesome. I have to say GM did a great job – and the car gets 22mpg average! Thanks for letting me share.

It sounds like the previous owner(s) probably did a good job maintaining the car as well. That has as much, or more, to do with the longevity of the car as the original manufacturing quality.

I agree. Both owners (I am the third) serviced the car regularly and had all receipts for work completed. There were no major repairs, just routine maintenance and regular service. Makes a huge difference!
