I took the plug like thing out of the air compressor of my 1999 lincoln navigator because it was operating loud I thought and the back end dropped down. I have put it back in to see if it would lift again and it has not and its been an hour??? Any suggestions ---

if you started the vehicle up and let it run for 1 hour and it did nothing then you need to find a repair shop familiar with air suspension. why would you want to mess with something that you know nothing about and maybe screw up something else?
