Here is a question the OP never answered. when was the TPMS last reset, even with the readouts on the dash, his Acura RDX 2015 still needs to be manually reset.
I’m not knowledgeable about this but what if the TPMS is reset before the system identifies an underinflated tire and the tries readings are all over the place.
Does it accept the input or does it indicate an ERROR?
Like Orwell said in animal house though, all animals are equal but some are more equal than others. It was a spoof on Stalin jailing anyone that didn’t agree with him.
Fair warnibg, I’m going to hi Jack this discussion because if I start my own, I’ll get bothersome notifications all the time.
I took the car out last night and had a little slippage at a stop sign. I noticed the traction control light went on and wouldn’t come off again when I hit the button. So I re set all the tire pressures which were a few pounds low and I see what happens later today.
Now onto garage doors. My opener and doors are 30 years old so I pre emptively changed the springs and cables (not the first time). Also replaced the opener from a chain drive to a belt drive. I couldn’t believe how much quieter it was. Still having some sqeaking so I replaced all the hinges between the sides and git amazingly quieter. So then I got the green hinges to seal the doors better and new nylon rollers again. The thing Is whisper quiet. So I ordered the green hinges for my other two doors and will d9 all th3 hinges, cables and rollers on those too when it warms up.
Just saying if you are tired of gsrage door rattle, worked for me. Opener most important but hinges are cheap and made a difference. Have to make sure to check that the door opened so I don’t drive through it like mom did once.

Hey Bing, you may have this. I got a new Chamberlain a few years ago. It runs on a 12 v battery so it still works when the power goes out! The 120 v normally keeps the battery charged up.
Also has an APP so I can open the door with my phone! A neat feature is it will close the door if you forget, a nice thing at my age (68). You can set a elapsed time from 5 to 45 minutes and it will close. I have mine set at 30 minutes.
Stupid me. I didnt want the app and poo pooed the back up battery system. Now that our power is becoming less reliable, wish I had the battery. It was very cheap but now I would have to add some kind of power supply that likes motors. Came home from picking the wife up from pt and the power was out. Made me think.
Look in the manual. Some newer systems you just need to purchase the battery kit and install them. The control board is the same between units sold with and without. Worth looking to see you might get lucky.
