Modern transmissions…yes…but tranny’s from 30 years ago…you could do it…and it’s a GREAT way of shortening the life of the tranny. I guess that’s one reason why trannies are now computer controlled.

Hopefully thengine attained operating temperature by the time you goto the bank.
(I keep a magnetic engiheater on the oil pan so thengine is at least warm when started.)
