# ABS Light

2000 Mercury Sable Wagon, 3.0L engine, automatic transmission. The sensor rings on the axles split and fell off so now my ABS light stays on. Is there any way to disable the light, other that a piece of electrical tape? I am not planning on replcing the axles, as I understand that brake system will still function as a normal breaking system.
