# ABS Light and Bell Buick Rendevous

I have an annoying bell ringing on a 2004 Buick Rendevous. We’ve had the truck serviced and the computer comes up with nothing wrong but the service guy is guessing on what needs to be fixed. The cost for repair has been quoted from 400 - 900 due to the extensive labor work to get to it. How can I just stop the noise/bell? It’s driving me and my friends crazy.

What’s the ‘service guy’ saying?

$400-$900? That’s a pretty wild \*ss guess.

My guess is maybe a possible faulty ABS sensor or perhaps even just a loose, damaged wire.

What does the owner’s manual say the bell is? Does it sound like an open door or seat belt alarm?

It is the open door alarm - with coupled with the check engine light on
