Well, I think I’m not the only one running into this problem, and I _hate_ losing a post (especially if it was a long one), so hopefully this will help someone out.

I’m talking about when you are in a thread, you reply to someone’s post, and then want to make another reply in the same thread. You hit submit for the 2nd post, and the page reloads, but wait a minute…where the heck is the 2nd reply you just submitted?

This is the work-around I’ve found…either go back to the main index and click back into that thread and make your reply, or look at the address bar at the top of your browser and you’ll see something like this:

Click on the address bar and remove the “#1168030” from the URL and press ENTER or click on a button that’ll load your modified URL. So, you should have this in your address bar afterwards:

Now make your 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th) reply and it should post. Works everytime for me.

Hopefully I’m not the only one having this problem, if it’s just me, I’ll feel pretty silly. I use IE 7, so maybe Firefox doesn’t do this. In any case, hope it helps someone out and saves a few posts from getting lost in cyberspace.

 Jad

You have to reply to the first one…then press the back key until you get back to where you were before you pressed the post key. Navigate to the next post you want to reply to…then hit press the reply button again.

Yup, that does the same thing. I find it quicker to just get rid of that #xxxxx part of the URL, but to each his own.

@entrepreneurmindsetclub_196106 figured it out right after making this post… His New Topic/Thread was posted 12 minutes after his post here…

> Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on a specific shifting issue with my 2007 Toyota Auris 1.4 D4D (Manual). I cannot shift from 4th gear into 3rd gear while the car is moving. It feels like hitting a physical wall, no grinding or noise, just a total lockout. Upshifting is fine 2nd to 3rd gear works perfectly. Also others gears no problem at all. From 1st to 5th to reverse. I can select 3rd gear easily when the car is stopped. The car recently sat in snow/freezing temperatures for 5 day…

New topic button wasn’t showing. I think because my account is new. After I engaged with some posts it appeared a bit latte. I just replied here cause I couldn’t post.
