# 99 GMC Jimmy making noise

Every time I pull off from a mailbox (i’m a mailcarrier) my Jimmy makes a sound like a slide whistle. It doesn’t last long, but it happens every time!

peon, please provide more information. Does this sound come from the engine, front, rear, transmission, or something else entirely?

There’s just not enough information to even attempt a diagnosis.
