I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima with 250,000 miles. It runs great. It cranks great when the engine is warm. But when the engine is cold it turns over fine, but it will not stay cranked. The only way to get the engine to keep running is give it a little gas for a couple of seconds. Any ideas? Thanks.

Maybe you have a problem with the fuel pump or fuel regulator. When the engine is cold, your fuel line dosen’t build-up pressure fast enough. When the engine is warm, there is still enough residual pressure left in the line to keep it running until more pressure can build.
