# '94 Volvo 940 (not Turbo) AC just stopped

My previous Volvos used freon (or whatever), but I understand the 94’s do not – so how do I get the chill back?

It uses a newer version of freon which is better for the air we all breathe. Take it to your normal independant mechanic. Recharging is the same process just using a different chemical.
