We replaced the computer. No help. When sitting at idle with the car in drive the transmission seems to shift continually between gears. It does not stall the engine but it sure is annoying. 100,000 miles. My mechanic is at a loss. Any ideas?

Has your mechanic checked the speed sensor?? You could have a faulty speed sensor which is telling the computer that the vehicle is in motion. That would definately cause the trans to shift while sitting idle. I would have a trans shop look at it.
