I have a `93 Ford Escort. Engine has been running fine. Car was parked after last use, not used for a month or so and now will not start. The starter/engine will turn over and it sill rev up to about 4000 rpm, then die out. It weill do this for 2 or 3 times, and then will not start at all.

 I have:

 1) visually checked all connections

 2) checked all fuses

 3) checked the cutoff switch.

 4) Fuel filter and PVC valve are new,

 Anyone have any good suggestions?
