I need to replace a broken drive belt in my 92 oldsmobile 98. It looks like I may need to remove some motor mounts to put the belt in place but I wanted to see if anyone had a quick how to on this repair?

How many drive belts do you have? I have never heard of a motor mount being removed to replace a fan belt (spark plugs…yes on a 79 Monza Spyder V8).

When the motor mount is removed do I have to brace the engine or will it be supported by the transmition/axle like a 91 chevy lumina?

The procedure calls for a block of wood on a floor jack. It goes under the oil pan.
