will not start. Slow trying to turn over. Tried a ned battery. Any guesses on what it might be?

Still turning slowly with a ned battery? I’d check the battery terminals first.

For a car to crank well it needs these all to work correctly

- fully charged battery w/clean terminal connections
- ignition switch
- neutral start switch or clutch switch (if manual)
- starter solenoid contacts
- starter motor
- solid ground connections

If you haven’t had a battery charging system test done, that’s probably first. Second, have the voltage at the two starter terminals (thick one, and thin one) measured during attempted cranking. Leave them connected. Are both above 10-10.5 volts? If yes, it’s probably a problem with the starter motor or starter solenoid. If no, it’'s one of the others.

I don’t have an answer for this but I have a question about my 92 Honda Accord. I am new to these boards and can someone please tell me how to ask a question rather than just comment.
Thanks

Jenbhada–Look at the upper right-hand corner of the page, and you will see a red box marked, “Ask a question”. Click on that, and then proceed accordingly.
