GeorgeSanJose:## Your suggestion that a leakage due to acid on the battery surface is indeed a point to control. In my case the battery is completely closed and dry on thesurface. But nevertheless thanks for the post.

Problem solved! There is a TSB concerning this problem. Updating the DCM solves the problem. Now the amperage has fallen to 20mA and the battery survives.
