# 2019 Lincoln MKC - Big noise then I almost stop

I bought a new 2019 MKC in November. Several times when accelerating to go up a hill, there is a loud noise that sounds as if I have run over a log. It is metal scraping metal and causes the vehicle to almost stop. There is no error message recorded in the system

If you bought the vehicle _new_ last fall it’s under warranty. Take it back to the Lincoln dealer and describe the problem.

Even if it was purchased as a used vehicle, a 2019 Lincoln should still be covered by all of its multiple warranties.

The OP specifically wrote that he(?) bought the vehicle new last year. That’s the part that counts.
