Is the engine oil “Motion 5W 30” ILSAC GF-6AAPI SP/CFACEA A3/B4 C3100% applicable for use on my 2019 Hyundai Kona gas engine? ---

Your owners manual will answer that. Owners manual will list minimum oil requirements. Google does not even show Motion brand oil. Out of curiosity, what country do you live in? ---

I concider this Motion Oil in the same category as Amsoil. All hype with not real benifits. Any name brand 5W 20 or 30 synthetic is fine. ---

1.6 or 2 liter engine? 5W-30 viscosity is acceptable for either engine. Hyundai says to use A5/B5 oil for the 1.6L engine, probably for the extended oil change interval. You might use a shorter oil change interval for the 1.6L. The API, ILSAC, and ACEA ratings are the latest specs, so you should be OK on that score. ---

The Motion oil you show is ILSAC GF-6A, which supersedes GF-3. Here’s a great explanation for what changes went into the specs between GF-3 and GF-6A. The oil specifications of Motion 5W 30 is applicable and ok to use on my Kona 2.0 engine. Thanks for the informative lubricant grades.
