# 2019 Honda CR-V - Taps

I have owned my 2019 CR-V for 2 years now, last fall I have noticed a tapping sound coming from beneath the steering column behind the dash. There are about 5 taps that I hear, and it only seems to occur directly after starting my vehicle. Comes and goes now that it’s warmer out but in the winter months it seemed like every time I started the car. Anyone know what this might be or where to start?

The mechanism that operates the HVAC system’s blend door needs to be replaced. This is fairly common with older GM vehicles, but I guess that Hondas aren’t immune to that type of problem.
