2018 Tiguan driver seat belt sensor chiming while buckled. Happens sporadically. seems like a faulty wire?? ---

Unless you have logged a lot of miles in the 1-2 years that you have owned this vehicle, the Bumper-to-Bumper warranty should still be in effect, thereby qualifying you for free repairs at the dealership. ---

Are you sure it is a seat belt warning?, our rav 4 has so many dings and alerts. Caution road may be icy, lane departure warning, collision alert, you have been driving too long need to rest etc.
