side warning system has gone out 3 times, are there other complaints for this system

I presume you’re referring to the blind spot detection warning. There don’t appear to be many specific complaints. [https://m.carcomplaints.com/Toyota/RAV4/2018/](https://m.carcomplaints.com/Toyota/RAV4/2018/) But since this is a safety related feature contact Toyota Corporate. The number should be in your Owner’s Manual.
