I have a 18 titan xd I purchased new, it now has 15000 miles on it, I have noticed recently that the front bumper has a couple of rust spots on it.

Isn’t the bumper made of plastic?

A quick image search shows some with what appear to be chrome bumpers. Possibly the OP’s truck is one of those?

It doesn’t take long for any exposed steel to get surface rust on it. That’s why we wax and polish. If it’s a chrome bumper any nick will expose the metal and rust will start. Brillo pad are great for taking it off. On body parts though, the only thing covered is an actual rust though within five years usually.
