# 2018 Ford Focus - Sluggish

Do you mean the car seems incapable of rapid acceleration (or at least not as rapid as before) when you are going slow, like driving around the neighborhood? If so, could be the brakes are slightly stuck on all the time. Feel the wheels after a short drive where you don’t do much braking. Do any of them feel usually hot? Could be a related to the transmission too. I presume by your handle (DCT …) your car has Ford’s dual clutch transmission right?

have you ever replaced the air or fuel filter? if not I would do that first.
