# 2018 Chevrolet Colorado - thump at start

Thump at start. Remote start the truck then put in the key and turn on the electrical power. Thump. It sounds like the differential when you go from reverse to drive. Do it with the windows down. Can’t reproduce every time but quite often when starting.

It’s under warranty, take it to the dealer and have it checked out. Maybe a question to ask on a Chevy forum, lot’s of Colorado owners there.
