# 2017 Toyota RAV4 - Tires, AM radio and a problem

The sound of movement of tires cause static in AM radio. Is that a problem? I do not hear AM. but I am worry that can be a car problem.

Seems unlikely the tires are causing the AM static. Maybe it is just the car’s motion that’s is culprit, wind is wiggling AM antenna perhaps. With car parked and AM radio on, experiment wiggling the AM antenna.
