# 2017 Lincoln MKC - loud noise from speaker

when entering the vehicle, the screen (back up camera) scrolls "system shut down to conserve battery. I wait for it to finish booting up. Then, when I press the start button, a very, very loud boom noise comes from the driver’s side audio speaker.which is in the rear. It’s Friday evening and I am unable to contact the dealer. Very scary for a 78 y/o lady.

Most likely this is due to having a weak battery. your battery is 6 years old and probably needs to be replaced.  
Also, if you only take short drives all the time the battery will not fully charge.
