My daughters 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee began to sputter and vibrate when driving. The code for this failure suggested misfiring (spark plugs and coil). Both were replaced and the issue is still present. Any further suggestions before I take it back to the dealer to find out it is yet another issue that folks have had and resolved?

What code or codes were present that suggested this?

Back to dealer? Dealer changed plugs/coils?

If it a V8 engine, you don’t say, it may have destroyed the camshaft when the cylinder deactivation system malfunctioned.
