Paint coming off in several areas, top of the auto, hutch door, left side passenger handle. I took it to the dealer and they don’t want to be responsible for the problem.

7 year old cars often develop paint problems. If you feel this is caused by use of low quality materials or manufacturing methods, your best option is probably to forward this issue to Hyundai customer relations. Have you done the necessary internet research to determine if other owners are reporting this same problem?

There is a manufacturer communication for the 2017 Tucson and many other Hyundais. The Paint Protection Film (PPF) flakes off. Go to [NHTSA.gov](http://NHTSA.gov) and search in the recall section for your SUV, then click on Manufacturer Communications. The one you want is under the Structure section. Download the PDF document MC-10235566-0001 and read it. Mention it to the dealer if they are not familiar with it.
