# 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan - bouncy transmission?

When I go in reverse on any type of incline or load the transmission feels like it is bouncing,Asked the dealer and they told me they have heard of this from other customers and told me I would need a software update at a cost of $300.00 ?

That is your question? Does the software update cost $300 or not? We don’t know what the dealer told you.

Seems the van is under warranty so the update should be free.
