# 2016 Jeep Wrangler stalls in reverse in the cold

When the temperature is cold my Wrangler stalls when I first shift into reverse. It starts again right away but revs up for a few seconds. Of course the dealer can’t locate the trouble and the warranty is nearly up.

The electronic throttle body controls the engine idle speed under all conditions.
