# 2016 Jeep Cherokee - Noise when underway

My 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport makes like a spin out type of noise while I’m drivine. The RMS do go up some, but not a lot. I notice it mostly while accelerating around 30-40 mph. It also does it when i’m slowing down.

My **guess** you have a transmission issue. Transmissions need to be serviced at 30-50,000 mile intervals. Manufacturers often say 100,000 miles, but then the vehicle is out of warranty.

Have the transmission fluid changed, you **might** get lucky and it will correct the problem.

Sorry, but I’m not getting what you mean. Can you describe the noise in a different way?
