My 2016 Dodge Dart GT blew up what else should I check after replacing the battery if my check engine light came on.

Sounds like a mob hit, if so what is the point in replacing the battery?

If you are simply replacing a failed battery and have a check engine light on you may be able to have the fault codes read at a discount auto parts store. The fault code will lead to a diagnostic route to correct the problem.
