You would probably get more help with more description and info on the vehicle…  
Engine size, miles, FWD/AWD…  
CEL light on??

Have someone try cleaning the electronic throttle body.

Shaking at idle is often an engine misfiring problem, for which there are at last half a dozen common causes. The first step is determining the computer’s diagnostic codes.

One of the posters here has quite a bit of Equinox diagnoses & repair experience , maybe they’ll chime in.
