The brands that qualify include _Mobil-1 Advanced_, but there are others. I would advise avoiding fast-lube joints, which may not have that specification oil in stock, and might lie and tell you that they are using it. ---

Well, a 5-quart bottle of synthetic oil costs about $20 at Costco, more at regular stores, maybe slightly less from a wholesaler, but you get my point. A quality oil filter costs another $10 to $15. By the time wages for the technician, and costs of running a business are factored in, I’d say an oil change costs about $100. ---

Our GMC dealer is $101 for up to 8 quarts and includes tire rotation.
